ACHS Raider teams busy this weekend in post-season tournaments

The Appomattox County High School Raiders athletic teams will be busy in post-season competition as the weekend arrives.
The wrestling team will be at the Salem Civic Center on Friday and Saturday for the Class 2 State Championships. Matches begin at 10 a.m.
The indoor track and field team will be at Roanoke College on Friday for the Class 1/2 Regional Championships. Events begin at 4 p.m.
The boys and girls varsity basketball teams will begin Class 2 Regional play Friday.
The boys basketball team will play at Radford High School at 6 p.m. Ticket price is $8.
The girls basketball team at Glenvar High School at 5:30 p.m. Since Glenvar is hosting both a girls game and a boys game that night, the ticket price is $10 and will be good for both games.
Both basketball teams will be leaving ACHS at 3 p.m. on Friday.
